Parade Nocturne is the meeting of a sculptural and a performance work that started in 2018.
Two sculptures stand in the room, one lied down on a hand dyed couch, and one supported by metal spikes. Like two performers on the main stage, their forms complement each other and start a discussion without words.
This installation reflects our capacity of movement’s dialog and dance improvisation between two bodies during a performance.
With isolating material, modeled in 3D and carved with cnc, two inert bodies stand and From these organic surreal forms came a language, an alphabet formed by the assembled layers of the sculptures. This alphabet then monopolized the space, by clinging on a 3meter high banner. Becoming the flag of this new language, it created invisible borders surrounding the installation. It is the inception crystalizing organic bodies in a performative state.
